Outfit of the Day/ Hair of the Day

Hi Everyone!

Today, my outfit inspiration came from none other than the great Europe. This March, I made sure I stayed on point with my outfits- and this is one of them! Yes it's a repeat, but I got so many compliments, I don't even care. Here's how I looked today:

I'll definitely post the pictures from Europe with me wearing this outfit. I felt soo cute!


I also changed my hair up a bit for today. What I've been realizing is my ends are slooowwwly feathering away- and that's one of my biggest fears! It's still easy to see that my hair has grown- but split ends just doesn't gel with me. I'm trying my hardest to keep my hair as healthy as possible before I turn to braids for the summer. I'd like to get it in it's healthiest state, trim the ends, and braids it all up! So I kept my hair in a semi "protective" style today. Last time I kept this style in for about 3 days, so I'm aiming for that again!

For this style, I first pre shampooed my hair with coconut oil, and co-washed with Organix Coconut Milk conditioner. I then simply moisturized with coconut oil, and a bit of my Oyin Handmade Sugar Berry Pomade for my ends. My hair was smelling fruity!!

I got a good amount of compliments today as well- a girl even claimed to see the length difference in my hair! Yay! I'm so excited for the length check, I can't wait to post about it!

Naturalista Spotted for 17 Magazine

Hi Everyone!
About a week ago, I signed up for the '17 Fit Club' to get in shape! I paid only $5.99 for a months' time, and I've already began to see results. Everything on  '17 Fit Club' takes place online, so the workouts are posted via video. For two consecutive days, a workout will be posted, followed by a rest day. As I signed on today to do my workout, I noticed a beautiful head of curls in front of me. Her name is Chelsea, and she's a NATURAL FITNESS INSTRUCTOR! Here's what she looks like: 

Now, I will admit that I have seen a few curly headed curlies in Seventeen Magazine before, but I was extremely impressed to see this lovely girl! Is it wrong that I just want to touch her curls?


What do you all think? I say, kudos to Seventeen AND to Chelsea for getting through her workout with a full out 'fro!

I wore my hair in my regular puff again- I can definitely see the length change in my hair- it got longer! The vitamins I'm taking really seem to be working. I can't wait to see what my hair looks like in a few weeks when my vitamins are finished!

Maxi Dress Mania- The Search for the Dress is Over!

GUYS.
I found my maxi dress, and I'm absolutely in love with it! I went shopping yesterday with my mother and grandmother, and that's when this beautiful dress struck my eyes.
Since I'm only 16, I needed a dress that matched my young age and personality, and didn't show me off as way older. This deep grey striped dress definitely matched all of my regulations. Here's a look:

For my viewers from the United States, Winners is the Canadian version of Marshalls. They're basically the same, and Canada will be converting Winners to Marshall's in the upcoming years. 

I definitely plan on finding dresses like these and having a collection of my own soon enough!

Outfit of the Day/Hair of the Day - Floral Summer Dress, Successful Twist- Outs!

I FINALLY wore my hair in a different style today! After a very long time of not washing my hair.....I've discovered a cute new style that beats the humidity that's been killing me these few weeks! Here's a look:

*I pinned the frizzy area down- I did that before know what style I was going for! 

To achieve this look, I used Oyin Handmade Sugar Berry Pomade for my twist outs to keep the curls neat and tidy. I slept on the twists in the back overnight, and undid them this morning. I took out the twists in the front and middle of my head once I woke up, brushed my hair out using the my Denman brush, and re-did them in this style. To keep my twists outs from frizzing up during the day, I raked Ouidad's Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel through my hair, and re applied Sugar Berry Pomade to my ends to keep them intact  and moisturized.
